Veterans Day Parade

About and tips

Parking: The Denver Art Museum has ample secure parking. There are also cheaper lots right outside the museum.

Bring snacks. We don't always fall in to the same spot in the parade and it can be a long wait.

Have the assistant hike leader act as a Pack Mule parent. Put everyone's water and snacks in a wagon and have that parent meet you at the end of the route. The parade is short enough the boys shouldn't need to stop for food or water.

Bathrooms are sparse, don't over hydrate. Kids especially.

Our hike leader should coordinate with Boy Scout Troop 373. Their current Troop leader (2017) is Brian Boase, who can be reached at 303-590-8898 or 303-229-2890.

Directions

Take University north to 1st / Speer, turn left.

Turn right on to Broadway.

Turn left on to 13th

Park at one of the lots in the area. 2017 price was $10 for a whole day.
