MEETING DETAILS

When:  6:30-7:30pm

Where: Sandburg Elementary School

Pack Meeting: 1st Tuesday of the month 

Pack Meeting: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month

Parents Meeting: 3rd Tuesday of the month

Events and Parent Commitment

1. Webelos Scouting involves two to four events per month.  A parent or guardian are encouraged be present with the scout through all events. 

   1. Two Den Meeting Each month from September through May.  Den meetings are hosted in a home or in the cafeteria & gym at Sandburg Elementary.

   2. One Pack Meeting or Outing each month from September through May.  Pack Meetings are held in the Sandburg Elementary gym.  

   3. Pack hike each month.  Hike schedules, locations, and other details can be found on Scoutbook and the Pack 559 website. All family members are welcome on hikes.

   4. Pack Campouts. Hike schedules, locations, and other details can be found on Scoutbook and the Pack 559 website. All family members are welcome on hikes.

   5. AOLs will also be exploring moving on to Troop level Scouting throughout this year which will required other nights and weeks visiting Troops Meetings and Events.

   6. AOLs will be divided into Patrols with a Patrol Leaders selected from each Patrol.

2. The Patrol Leaders are to lead the Den Meeting per year under the guidance of the Den Leader.  You just follow the adventure plan in the AOL Handbook.

3. Fundraising, such as selling camp cards, is required for AOL Scouts.  

4. Summer camps are fun for the whole family.  AOLs may attend camps as a AOLs. And may attend all Pack Campouts until entering Middle School.

Uniform

1. AOLs will be required to wear a complete Class A Uniform to all Pack and Den Meetings. AOLs who plan to transition to Troop level Scouting may move to Troop style Class A Uniforms.

2. Webelos will receive a Pack 559 Class B, Blue and Gold T-Shirt for hikes, cleanups, and other events. They are available in child and adult sizes. 

3. Webelos receive an adventure pins for each adventure completed.  A AOL patch is awarded after completing all of the required adventures.
